We now can have 2/3 of them in this shelving unit so they are easy to access when we enter class. The students love the fact that they do not need to carry around their math binder all day long in their backpack so they were extremely happy to have the shelf. \r\n\r\nThe mesh bags were the perfect size to fix our cm cubes for place value work. Each one holds just enough of the blocks that it isn't overwhelming. It's also easy for them to double up with a classmate if needed. Students enjoy being able to use more hands on materials. \r\n\r\nAs for the mini boxes, we are using those for smaller math practice games. This makes passing them out and clean up much easier, and who doesn't love a game? \r\n\r\nThank you for the support, it means so much!","fullyFundedDate":1755315068357,"projectUrl":"project/organizing-hands-on-teaching-tools/9513626/","projectTitle":"Organizing Hands-on Teaching Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Linn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9477523_orig.jpg?crop=462,462,x1191,y2035&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722029562874","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9477523"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_71964","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":761,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":43,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":27,"percentIndigenous":6,"percentLatinx":56,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"19.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":65.8,"schoolId":71964,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Vista Grande Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Vista Grande Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-mexico/rio-rancho-public-school-district/vista-grande-elementary-school/71964"}
