We are not comfortable asking for headphones for the students from parents who are already struggling. As teachers, we purchase them out of our own pocket. A few of my students had been struggling with fluency, but once we started using books, the mobile book shelf, and reading games, something clicked. They were more engaged, more confident, and actually asked to keep reading during center time. It's amazing to watch students feel proud of themselves and motivated to keep reading - which is music to my eyes!!!\r\n\r\nWe will continue to use the mobile book shelf for years to come!
