I actually acquired my first set of this novel from Donors like you over seven years ago. We have read this novel as a class every year and the books were starting to fall apart. Literally! We were reading, and in one week, five books had pages start falling out!\r\nThanks to your donation, every student now has a book and we can complete the novel. Also, many more years of this wonderful book can be shared with numerous students. This is a well-loved book that teaches uplifting themes and character traits as well as all of our grade-level standards, such as theme, main idea, inferring, and comprehension skills. We also write on topics from the book and learn to summarize and take notes. The students read aloud, to themselves, and I also model read for them. Thank you so much for providing this opportunity.
