My students were incredibly excited when they first saw the new materials and books. Having a special space dedicated to reading has made reading time more inviting and enjoyable, and the bilingual resources allow my students to strengthen their literacy skills in both English and Spanish while also seeing their language and culture represented in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWe are using these resources during independent reading, small-group instruction, and other literacy activities throughout the week. Students now have more opportunities to choose books that interest them, practice their reading skills, and develop confidence as readers. It has been wonderful to see them excited to visit our reading corner, explore new stories, and share what they are reading with their classmates.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our classroom has become a more welcoming and engaging place for young readers. We will continue using these materials throughout the school year as we work on reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and developing a lifelong love of reading.
