It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm as they experimented with the markers and discovered how color could bring their repujado designs to life.\r\n\r\nThis project gave students an opportunity to learn about Mexican art and culture while also developing patience, creativity, and confidence in their own artistic choices. As they worked, students encouraged one another and proudly shared their finished designs. We are continuing to build on this experience by exploring more Mexican art techniques and discussing the cultural traditions behind the artwork we create.
