My students are delighted to have a well-stocked first aid kit and disinfectant wipes to keep their desks clean. Not to mention that, as soon as they entered the classroom, they noticed the snack cart; they were thrilled and immediately started asking questions. \r\n\r\nThey were very happy to learn that we finally had something to eat for when they got hungry. We are currently working on a unit about our neighborhoods. We are exploring how neighbors can help one another, and my students quickly expressed their wish for their neighbors to have enough food, just as they do now in class.
