My students were excited when they first saw the new stools and immediately appreciated having another seating option available to them. Because they are easy to move, students could quickly bring them to different areas of the classroom and create a workspace that fit the activity and the people they were working with. Instead of being limited to their desks, students had more opportunities to move, collaborate, and choose a space that helped them stay involved in their work.\r\n\r\nThese stools continue to be useful beyond the original project. They have helped make our classroom a more flexible space where students can transition between whole-group instruction, collaborative work, and independent learning more easily.
