The headphones are being used daily during literacy centers, helping students stay focused and work independently on reading programs. The Play-Doh and LEGO sets are supporting our fine motor and STEM stations, allowing students to build, create, and think critically. Our classroom essentials from Ticonderoga pencils to glue sticks, erasers, and composition notebooks have empowered students to take pride in their work and feel equipped for success.\r\n\r\nOne special classroom moment happened during a group writing project. Having clearly labeled, secure storage means less time spent searching for things and more time learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students saw the Creative Teaching Press Apple Tree bulletin board set and holiday cut-outs, they immediately wanted to help decorate. One student said, \"It feels like a whole new classroom!\" These decorations have created a more welcoming and engaging learning environment, and the Better Than Paper bulletin board roll made it easy to update our displays without tearing or wrinkles a huge timesaver.\r\n\r\nWe've already put the copy paper, pens, and stapler to use in our writing unit. My students were thrilled to receive the supplies. We used the paint right away to illustrate our math stories. This was the first time they were writing their own math word problems and so it was nice to represent it with a painting to be displayed in the classroom. We also changed our bulletin boards and used the beautiful board paper and borders to display our writings about what we learned about the zoo. Many students have never gone to a zoo so I showed them live feed of animals at the Bronx Zoo in New York. The name plates on their desks are helping them for both math and reading since it has the alphabet and a number line. One of my students is selectively mute and is using the name plate to point to answers during my lesson instruction. This is helping her feel like she is part of the discussion.
