I set it up and left it in front of my classroom just in time for us to cover the percussion family of instruments. Everyone wanted to turn and it was an especially big hit with my students who have additional needs.\r\n We can't wait to start using it with our modern band unit. We are currently learning chords on ukulele, and after teaching a basic rock beat, they will be playing along with their favorite songs in no time. This is such an amazing piece of equipment because I teach on the stage and it is used by many organizations in the community. I was told at 1 PM on Friday that there was an event this weekend and the custodial team offered to move my materials – but with the drum set in a box, I can just pick it up and move it. There isn't a huge piece of equipment to breakdown and little parts that could get misplaced. When I go in on Monday morning, I won't have to spend time setting it up because we can just pick it up and go!\r\n My students and I are really grateful for your generous donation and support. Some students are asking where they can get their own because it's small enough for an apartment and it is not as loud as a traditional drum set. Even some of the staff members have come in and had a turn!
