My students and staff were so excited! We had fun opening the box and putting together the Cricut AutoPress! \r\n\r\nThen we photographed or scanned student artwork, especially for Autism Awareness, and uploaded the images. Then we printed the artwork onto special vinyl. We trimmed it and put it onto a special backing. Then we pressed each t-shirt for a quick 5 seconds to \"set it\". Then we put the image onto the t-shirt, covered it with a butcher paper or similar paper and pressed it. The Cricut AutoPress is so convenient. It warms up very quickly (8 minutes on average) and then the automatic timer is super easy to use. When it's done, the machine opens up. \r\n\r\nThe t-shirts look super cool and my students were amazed to see their artwork on t-shirts! So, thank you so much for allowing us this special opportunity to be able to take student artwork and turn it into precious items. Futhermore, we can create school uniforms for those in need at a low cost. Also, in the future we hope to print our own Austimam Awareness t-shirts and more. We received the Epson color printer box, and the students were so excited to help open it and set up the printer! We have been able to use it for many activities. \r\n\r\nWe have been able to print students' graphic design projects that they made using Adobe Express, PosterArtist.canon, Canva, Docs, other software, and/or just drawing, scanning & printing. We were able to print out color photos for fun winter projects. A student designed a \"winning\" school-based enterprise Print Shop sign and stickers. Some students made special graphic design messages for friends or family on Valentine's Day. We also printed out special color flyers that were distributed to the school community. Most recently students were creating Autism Awareness flags and t-shirts designs, so we were able to scan and print out some of their designs in varying sizes, etc. Next up we will try to make some t-shirts with iron-on printouts! \r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our students have had so much educational fun creating art, graphic design, and items. The printouts have been shared with students and their families, on school bulletin boards, the school community, and even with some of our community partners.
