Your donation has had an immediate and meaningful impact on my students' learning. Because of you, my classroom now has tools that support small-group instruction, independence, and access to literacy in ways that were not possible before.\r\n\r\nThe listening center has been especially powerful for my students. Many donors may be familiar with using technology for entertainment at home, but in our classroom it is used as a learning tool that builds listening comprehension, vocabulary, and reading confidence. Students are excited to listen to stories, follow along with texts, and hear fluent reading modeled. This has been especially beneficial for students who need repeated exposure to language, including English language learners and early readers, who gain confidence as they listen and engage at their own pace.\r\n\r\nThe printer has also made a significant difference by allowing me to provide timely, individualized learning materials. I am now able to quickly print texts, practice activities, and small-group resources that meet students exactly where they are. Students feel proud having their own materials, and it allows learning to continue smoothly without delays. Your generosity has helped create a more responsive, supportive literacy environment where students are motivated, engaged, and growing every day. Thank you for believing in my students and supporting their journey as readers.","fullyFundedDate":1735061616766,"projectUrl":"project/building-literacy-through-small-group-li/8920598/","projectTitle":"Building Literacy Through Small Group Listening and Reading Activities","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Yarborough","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4491322_orig.jpg?crop=915,915,x0,y57&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1730782814954","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4491322"},{"teacherId":2343436,"projectId":8869788,"letterContent":"I cannot express how thankful I am for your generous donations to help our classroom. My students were super excited when they saw the rug come. This was the first to arrive. They sat, layed down and rolled all over it. Then when the chairs came they were so happy to have something different to sit in instead of chairs all day. I have never seen these chairs before and I am sure they have not either. We do our phonics instruction every morning from our new special corner. They enjoy the ability to rock in them as they learn and work together. We use our vacuum every day at the end of the day, during clean up time. Our treats are used as prizes for good behavior and notable moments. \r\n\r\nI am so grateful for this organization.
