As a speech therapist in Paterson, New Jersey, I serve a number of families who do not have the same resources as other more affluent cities. Much of the burden falls on me to provide an interactive, intimate and educational experience for my kids. Providing that experience virtually means that I have to be able to track each and every attempt to communicate in real time. The slightest movement of the lips, jaws and tongue is crucial. Any lag time is time my kids cannot get back. I do not want antiquated tech to get in the way of my kids’ progression. They don’t deserve that. With the updated system, large screen and clear audio of an MacBook pro, I won’t miss a thing.
