Their literacy scores have gone up for this marking period and we are happy. \r\n\r\nYour donation has made a difference not only in their academic performance but in their personalities too. I am not exaggerating I say that they have become a little bit of better people too. It shifted their mindset. As many of them come from poor families, there were students who never got a gift from anyone outside their close family. I took my chance and developed a lesson on gratitude and kindness of strangers as a strong foundation for a person's values. The hearts of my students are harboring gratitude for you and as a class, we've made it our goal to show gratitude and do an act of kindness every day, even if it is a small thing such as opening the door for a friend or saying hi to a teacher they had a class with the previous year. It was my students idea to create a thank you poster for you.
