Your kindness truly means more than we can express. Books have a special way of opening doors for young readers, and the stories you provided will allow our students to travel through time, meet fascinating characters, and experience history in a way that feels real and exciting.\r\n\r\nFourth graders are at such a magical stage in their reading lives. They are beginning to see books not just as assignments, but as adventures, discoveries, and windows into other worlds. Historical fiction is especially powerful because it helps students build empathy and curiosity about the past while strengthening their love of reading.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our students now have access to stories that will spark imagination, inspire questions, and encourage thoughtful conversations about history and humanity. The joy that comes from finding a book you truly love is something that stays with a child for a lifetime, and you have helped make that possible for many young readers.\r\n\r\nPlease know that your gift will be used and appreciated every single day in my classroom and for years to come!! \r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting my classroom and for believing in the power of reading. The gift of books for young learners is truly priceless, and we are so grateful for your generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1766209706287,"projectUrl":"project/i-survived-reading-historical-fiction/9711525/","projectTitle":"I Survived Reading Historical Fiction!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Dewe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9794332_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757710472164","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9794332"},{"teacherId":9992832,"projectId":9239384,"letterContent":"Thank you for donating to my project. I have been able to incorporate the devices into my classrooms on both the classroom level and on an individual level. These devices have been particularly effective because they are small and portable. Since they are not reliant on internet connection or tablet based, students are accepting and understanding that the devices are used for communication. I am seeing a quick pace of success. \r\n\r\nI have programmed each of the devices to contain core words such as \"yes and no\" as well as words like \"open\" or \"help\". In addition, each device has some of the student's favorite items or activities. This ranges from things like tickles or painting.
