Because of your support, we were able to set up our sensory tent, which has already become a meaningful and beneficial space not only for my students, but also for other students who need support with emotional regulation.\r\n\r\nThe sensory tiles and social-emotional learning stories have helped students strengthen their social and emotional skills both inside and outside of the classroom. These resources provide students with tools to better understand their feelings, practice self-regulation strategies, and build independence.\r\n\r\nStudents are now able to appropriately request breaks and use the sensory tent as a safe, supportive environment. After taking the time they need to reset, they are better prepared to return to instruction focused and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly grateful for your generosity.
