Their eyes lit up with curiosity and excitement. These flexible seating options have done more than just brighten our room—they've transformed the way students interact and learn. Every student has felt comfortable working in these areas without the embarrassment or disruption of dragging chairs from their desks, which used to create a loud and distracting noise. Now, students move confidently and quietly into small groups, ready to engage and collaborate.\r\nThe impact on classroom culture has been incredible. These spaces have become safe, inviting environments that support not only academic growth but also relationship-building. Students are more eager to participate and connect with their peers and with me during small group time. There is a new sense of ownership and pride in our learning environment.\r\nNow, our small group meeting spaces are associated with positive experiences—focused work, respectful conversations, and mutual encouragement. It's amazing what a few pieces of thoughtfully chosen furniture can do to reshape how students feel about learning. We are beyond thankful for the support that helped make this transformation possible!","fullyFundedDate":1756323011914,"projectUrl":"project/grab-a-seat-for-collaboration/9432007/","projectTitle":"Grab a Seat for Collaboration!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Truman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3666090_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1467861028427","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3666090"},{"teacherId":2818940,"projectId":9161972,"letterContent":"We are absolutely loving our new writing pads! These writing pads have been used during whole group instruction, small group instruction and independent work time. We have used these tablets to solve math problems, practice handing writing strokes, writing simple words with sounds we have learned and to free draw pictures. \r\nThe students were so excited to use the new writing tablets! They love to draw and erase and repeat. I have even seen them using them to play games together such as tic tac toe.\r\nThese writing tablets are going to come in very handy in the beginning of the next school year as well. There are many writing strokes practiced in the beginning of the year and these writing tablets will be a quick, easy and mess free way to practice. They are able to be handed out quickly and collected quickly when done. The children are able to hold up their work to show us doing large group instruction. You have made a big impact on our classroom!\r\nThe class was really curious about what was in the super big boxes that got delivered to our room. They were shocked to hear that they were donated to us. We spent some time talking about the generosity of others and how we too could be generous with others in different ways!\r\nWe were so excited to finally have a chance to build with our classroom blocks! We are relieved that the blocks are now in a safe place. The best part, according to the students, is the carts have wheels! They love being able to move them to different spots in our classroom. When the office told me my new materials were here, I was like a little kid on their birthday receiving a present! \r\nThe first thing I did was put all of our supplies into the new bins. The bins are brightly colored and I now have enough bins for each table to have a basket of each supply. \r\nWhen the new book bins arrived, the first thing I was able to do was level my books! Wow! What a difference this has made during free reading time and structured reading time. \r\nLastly, the new shelf has made a world of a difference! I was able to organize the toys and manipulatives. I have freed up so much floor space and have decluttered many spaces. Having decluttered spaces gives me more room to move things around and create center areas for the children. \r\nI am beyond thankful for the new classroom materials we have received.
