The children would take turns throwing the ball into the hoop than another child would run and get the ball and give it to another student so that student could shoot the ball into the hoop, they learned how to share and be respectful of each other when it was someone else's turn to shoot the basketball. \r\n\r\nThe boys would be very helpful to the girls who were trying to play basketball, they would show the girls how to hold the ball and how to shoot it in the basketball net. The girls would get so excited and yell when they were able to get the ball in the net. I had the children line up so they could take turns and all the children would cheer by saying the child's name and clapping for the child to get the ball in the net, if the child missed the net the children would say it's ok.
