While this may seem like a simple tool, it has quickly become one of the most transformative additions to our classroom and I am eager to share with you how meaningful your gift has been. Not only is it beneficial for students, the students also love using it and get so excited when I bring it out to print!\r\nFrom the moment we unboxed the printer, all of the students were immediately intrigued and over the moon. They asked questions, offered ideas, and imagined all of the different ways we could use it together. The printer has become a daily part of our routine by supporting interactive notebooks, making reference charts, and becoming creative in ways to reinforce understanding.\r\n\tInteractive notebooks are an essential in my classroom to organize and internalize information. It's also a great resource for them to go back to when they're struggling. With the stickers, they are now able to add clear and visually appealing labels, diagrams, charts, vocabulary lists, and step by step processes. In the past, these resources required a lot of time-consuming copying or printing and cutting multiple sheets. Students would take a long time to cut and glue the papers, cutting into lesson instruction time. Now, we can create high quality stickers that are durable, quick, and easy for students to reference. This change has brought organization, student confidence, independence, and pride. \r\n\tReference charts have been equally transformed with this donation. Students can utilize mini charts for math, reading thinking steps, grammar, and more. They can quickly contribute to the design and we can print what works best for them. This system has definitely become more manageable and engaging. It also allows students to be able to be more organized and more likely to revisit their material during class. Many students who previously struggled to keep track of handouts now have a system that feels manageable and engaging. Students have even used highlighters and color code their tools, which is a strategy we have worked on together and they have adopted independently. \r\n\tThe impact has extended beyond academics as well. Students begin to feel an ownership of their own learning and the opportunity to contribute to design stickers encourages creativity, collaboration, and problem solving. Students who are normally hesitant to participate are stepping up to help their classmates or contribute to chart layouts. They are definitely more invested in their learning.\r\n\tYour generosity has given my students something invaluable: a tool that makes learning more accessible, more engaging, and more meaningful. They could not have been more excited and it is all thanks to you. When I told them we needed to write thank you notes, they were so excited to be able to show their appreciation. Thank you for your support and for believing in them. We are able to create a classroom where students feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. Every day your gift is helping them build skills, stay organized and see themselves as capable learners.","fullyFundedDate":1758291934360,"projectUrl":"project/making-learning-stick-one-label-at-a-t/9594201/","projectTitle":"Making Learning Stick – One Label at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Fallone","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9562757_orig.jpg?crop=2223,2223,x0,y37&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1717519110906","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9562757"},{"teacherId":9095855,"projectId":9409030,"letterContent":"Words can not begin to describe the excitement you helped me bring into my classroom! The supplies you so generously donated made independent reading time a huge success. Not one student asked to go to the bathroom.... This is huge! Students were locked into their books with such focus. Who knew all I had to do was give them a flashlight and turn out the lights. Something as simple as a flashlight made them want to read!\r\n I was told I was the coolest teacher for having a basketball hoop in my classroom! We use it for brain breaks and as a way to review for tests. Students absolutely love to review when they get to play a game. \r\n These supplies might not be a big deal to you but they are HUGE to my students. Items such as kinetic sand, coloring paper, bins, and books have enabled students to explore their emotions in hands-on and creative ways. Through activities connected to the texts, students practice identifying and expressing feelings, understanding others' perspectives, and building coping skills. These tools make social-emotional lessons more concrete and interactive, helping students internalize strategies for self-regulation, problem-solving, and emotional awareness.\r\n\r\nCounseling sessions now feel more inviting and calming for my students. They enjoy choosing activities or books from the bins, using coloring or kinetic sand to focus their minds, and reflecting on stories that mirror their own experiences. These moments have strengthened the connection and trust between my students and me, creating a safe space for them to explore challenges, celebrate successes, and practice emotional intelligence. The materials support both individual and small-group sessions, making social-emotional learning more meaningful and accessible.\r\n\r\nI have especially noticed that students who sometimes struggle with anxiety, frustration, or self-expression are thriving with these resources. They feel calmer, more centered, and more willing to participate in discussion or reflection after using the tools. The combination of engaging texts and hands-on materials fosters self-confidence and personal growth, making counseling sessions both enjoyable and impactful. It's been rewarding to see my students excited to explore these resources while simultaneously developing skills that will support them in and out of school.","fullyFundedDate":1755739972004,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-feelings-and-strengthening-fu/9483448/","projectTitle":"Supporting Feelings and Strengthening Futures","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Maurath","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10006631_orig.jpg?crop=551,551,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753325232564","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10006631"},{"teacherId":9548029,"projectId":9107928,"letterContent":"The new organizational tools have made a huge difference in how we manage independent reading and small group time. I used the bins to replace our old book bins that help our independent reading books. In the new book bins, books are no longer falling over, and students can easily find a spot to read and spend the whole time reading. We've also used the materials to create supply bins for each small group, which hold supplies for each group. They help keep our groups organized and what is needed for each group. This makes small group time much more efficient and effective. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited! When they saw the bright, bins and how neat everything looked, several students said, \"Wow, these look amazing\" Others were eager to start organizing their books themselves. They were so excited to take their book bins around the room and our school to read independently and read with a partner. It gave them a sense of ownership over their classroom space and tools.\r\n\r\nWe're currently working on strengthening our independent reading stamina and building fluency in small group reading sessions. The next step is helping students use the tools to manage their own learning—choosing books based on interest and level, tracking their reading goals, and using small group materials responsibly. These resources have given us a strong foundation to keep building independence and strong reading habits.","fullyFundedDate":1741870401533,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-classroom-thats-neat-and-com/9107928/","projectTitle":"Creating a Classroom That's Neat and Complete!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Yelencsics","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9548029"},{"teacherId":9095855,"projectId":9043126,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity.
