These materials have already brought so much excitement, energy, and engagement into our learning.\r\n\r\nThe white boards, dice, game buzzers, prizes, and funds have given my students new outlets to participate, collaborate, and demonstrate what they are learning. Instead of simply reading about government and history, my students are getting to actually experience the concepts we are learning through simulations, games, debates, and hands-on activities. \r\n\r\nOne of my favorite things about these materials is that they aren't something we will use just once. They have become part of our classroom routine just by this September, and will continue to benefit students year after year. We have been using our white boards at least weekly to visualize big concepts and learn how to share ideas in a productive way. Our funding and dice have allowed students to simulate the Ellis Island immigration experience, which I hope will leave them with positive school memories in the future. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping me create a civics classroom where learning is active, meaningful, and fun. Your generosity is providing my students with more opportunities to understand how government works, why civic participation matters, and how they can make a difference in their own communities.
