Students worked together to organize the materials, assemble the kits, and carefully prepare them for distribution. One meaningful moment occurred when several students shared personal stories about times when their own families appreciated help from the community. By receiving these laptops from Donors Choose, they feel valued, appreciated and not forgotten. It's very special to them.\r\n\r\n Two students in particular, Anthony and Ariana, have been so excited since they have received their laptops that their participation and overall attitude have improved immensely. The materials we received — including a printer, mechanical pencils, folders, tissues, Sharpies, and pens — have greatly improved our daily learning environment and classroom efficiency.\r\n\r\nThe printer has been especially helpful in providing students with immediate access to worksheets, quizzes, and enrichment activities. It allows me to print differentiated materials to meet the diverse learning needs of my students and to quickly provide feedback on their work. Students now have access to clear, organized handouts that make learning more interactive and engaging.\r\n\r\nThe mechanical pencils, pens, and Sharpies have given students the tools they need to take notes, complete assignments, and participate in group projects with confidence. Many students who previously struggled to come prepared now have reliable writing materials, reducing interruptions and increasing focus during lessons.\r\n\r\nThe folders have helped students stay organized, especially as they manage assignments, study guides, and project materials. Having their own folders gives them a sense of ownership and responsibility for their learning.\r\n\r\nEven the tissues have played a role in creating a comfortable, caring classroom environment. Students appreciate having them available, especially during allergy and cold seasons — a small but important way to support their well-being.\r\n\r\nOverall, these materials have fostered a more structured, productive, and supportive learning environment. My students feel valued and equipped to do their best work. I am deeply grateful for these resources and for the opportunity to provide my students with the tools they need to succeed both academically and personally.\r\n\r\nThank you for your generosity and for helping make a real difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWith appreciation,\r\nHemlata Puri\r\nCamden High School","fullyFundedDate":1753197166440,"projectUrl":"project/overcoming-challenges/9307359/","projectTitle":"Overcoming Challenges","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Puri","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10010897"},{"teacherId":4918783,"projectId":9082577,"letterContent":"When I received the notification that our \"Creative Fundraising for our Senior Class of 2025\" project was fully funded, I was overwhelmed with gratitude. Your support not only provided resources, but opened up real possibilities for our students to take ownership of their senior year, both creatively and entrepreneurially.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generous donations, we received a sublimation printer, tumblers, and sublimation paper which was everything we needed to start creating custom merchandise. Students were able to design, press, and sell personalized items like tumblers, mugs, and keychains. This helped us raise money for senior events such as prom, graduation, and class trips.\r\n\r\nBut even more than raising funds, this project taught students new skills: graphic design, branding, product creation, and marketing. They learned how to take an idea, make it tangible, and sell it to support their peers.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful moments was watching a group of seniors collaborate on designing custom tumblers for the entire senior class. Each design celebrated Camden High's Panther pride, and seeing the students beam with joy as they held their own creation was a moment I'll never forget. They weren't just creating products, they were building memories.","fullyFundedDate":1746787357704,"projectUrl":"project/creative-fundraising-for-our-senior-clas/9082577/","projectTitle":"Creative Fundraising for Our Senior Class of 2025","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Herder","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4918783_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1509126365554","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/drherder"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_80856","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":404,"numTeachers":46,"percentFrplEligible":54,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":61,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":36,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":0,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"8.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":53.0,"schoolId":80856,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Camden High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Camden High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-jersey/camden-city-school-district/camden-high-school/80856"}
