My students have limited technology access in the classroom. The Chromebooks will have multiple purposes in the classroom. The Chromebooks will be able to help my students improve their math and typing skills, and allow them to become more fluent with technology. I plan to use Google Classroom and have students collaborate on projects. I can have them use Google Slides, to share with the class, how they came up with solutions to real-world application problems. I also plan to have students comment on each other's writing, by using Collaborative Conversation sentence starters, that we are using in class. I plan to use the Chromebooks as a station, within the classroom, for use on various websites. My students have various interests, and I want to create a time in the class, where students can use the Chromebooks to research topics of interest that will relate to the content they are learning! Chromebooks will also help students with learning at their own pace, since I plan on creating digital lessons catered to their specific needs.
