We now have 8 keyboards and 5 drum pad controllers that will be used starting in trimester 2 to teach students about music technology. In the meantime, the keyboards are already being used by a 9th grade music class for programming accompaniment tracks for their instrumental performances.\r\n\r\nI believe giving students the ability to exercise their creativity while learning computer science concepts is a great way to engage students as well as increase the diversity of students studying computing.
