We use the Ladybug nominees as part of our library curriculum and having copies in the school's library allows our students to check out these titles and share them with their families. Our grade 4-8 students read the Great Stone Face nominees as part of our winter reading challenge. This program encourages students to read nominated books to earn raffle tickets. It motivates them to try books they might normally skip over.
