When the boxes first arrived, my students were beyond excited—they immediately stepped up to help me unpack and set everything up. Every morning, students were eager to take on the daily responsibility of going to grab the ice packs from the freezer so we could get the fans running before class even started.\r\n\r\nThe impact on our daily learning was immediate. On those brutal 90-degree days when our room would usually become unbearable, these units kept the air moving and the temperature down. Most importantly, one of my students has medical needs that make heat tolerance a real challenge, and having a cool classroom was vital to their health, comfort, and success.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students stayed focused, comfortable, and motivated all through the warmest months instead of feeling drained by the heat.
