There was much anticipation and excitement leading up to receiving and using the seating options.\r\n\r\nI asked my students to share how having different options for seating in our classroom has helped them. Several students shared that having a seat that allows them to move helps them feel less stressed, wakes them up when they're tired. Some also mentioned that the seats help them feel more calm and focused to get their work done, as well as feeling more engaged in class. Students also appreciate having choices other than traditional classroom chairs and the ability to move around instead of sitting completely still for the duration of the school day. One of my favorite comments from a student is that \"[i]t helps me regulate my energy and stay in control\"...
