My students have been so excited to get all the new supplies. My 7th graders jumped right in and assembled the locking cabinet! \r\n\r\nWe have been enjoying the laptop cart stickers, as it has made it so much easier for each student to get the same laptop to use everyday. At first they were bare and it all felt really sterile, but with the addition of our lamps and coffee stations, they feel more like home. As is normal with classrooms, ours include many overhead fluorescent light fixtures, which can be harsh and uncomfortable for students and staff. The softer, adjustable lighting from the floor lamps are helping us to create a space that is inviting and creates a calm learning environment for our student interns. The coffee bar areas allow us to caffeinate and bring some refreshments to our staff and adult students as we welcome them in for the day.
