A rare occurrence with the topic of mental health. We were able to circulate the calculators between periods so more students could benefit! While working on math we were also simultaneously reinforcing our school/district policies to keep cell phones put away. This leads to more engagement, focus, and success for our freshmen. Having the spin wheel helped sparked curiosity to approach the tables and learn. \r\n\r\nThe calm space has flower string lights that's give the area a cozy feel (as described by staff members). \r\nExactly what students need to help them reset their mind and continue with their day when feeling overwhelmed.\r\n\r\nStudents will be returning to school this fall and getting the stickers donated.
