Our students focus on a variety of strength training methods and exercises throughout our PE classes and our weight training classes. However, our equipment is limited in what we can provide and the amount of exercises that we can perform safely in our weight room. We have a limited amount of space and weights that we can use, and it is difficult to vary the exercises on a daily basis for our students. These trap bars would give our students the opportunity to learn new techniques safely in our weight training curriculum, while allowing them to increase their strength on a daily basis, helping them to increase their self-esteem and confidence. Physical fitness is imperative to a healthy education environment for all students, and these would help us to go a long ways in improving the access that our students have to a variety of exercises and equipment.
