My class is just finishing up with their second novel study and we did not have a third set to move into. Many of these students are finishing a chapter book for their very first time in grade 6! This donation makes their desire to continue reading a success!! We will start our study next week and all 30 students are beyond excited!! Our novel study includes vocabulary instruction, we work on comprehension during and after strategies. Throughout the study we thread in many grade 6 ccsd to help prepare students for the next grade.
