Even students who were not participating in the actual History Day competition build a project for class. \r\nThe students were very excited as our packages were arriving. Many of them had never had those types of supplies available to work with. In combination with other supplies I had available or purchased, they had the option to create awesome projects. \r\n\r\nIt made me happy to see the students doing so well. We had a team place in 2nd and one in 3rd for the Regional History Day contest. Most had never had an opportunity to compete academically like that.
