The props have also helped some of my more hesitant readers build confidence through performance and teamwork.\r\n\r\nNext, we're creating mini stage productions where student groups adapt a short Shakespeare scene with props, blocking, and their own creative twists. With your donations, it has allowed all my students to interact with calculators in different ways by having a calculator for each student in class, allowing them to try different methods with their calculations to improve one's level of understanding within a concept. \r\n\r\nEvery student may come to class with different styles of calculators; thus, allowing students to engage in conversations on different approaches to obtain the same solution. Through this engagement, students improve their logical thinking, which increases their willingness to \"do the math\" and helps improve their outlook on accomplishing tasks.\r\n\r\nI have noticed this year, students are engaging more because they are interested in figuring out how to make the technology work for them and to be The Expert.
