My students are using the new materials for real-world hospitality projects that involve teamwork, customer service, event planning, marketing, presentations, and designing welcoming guest experiences. The poster materials, presentation supplies, laminating resources, and classroom décor items allow students to take an idea from the planning stage and actually create something they can see, present, and be proud of.\r\n\r\nMy students are incredibly eager to learn, and having these resources gives them opportunities to practice skills that can transfer directly to employment and life after incarceration. We are currently using our classroom materials for project-based activities in which students work individually or in small teams to design, pitch, and create hospitality displays while practicing communication, creativity, professionalism, and problem-solving. Our next steps are to continue expanding these hands-on projects so students can build confidence while learning skills they can use in hospitality, tourism, events, customer service, and other careers.\r\n\r\nThank you for seeing the potential in my students and for helping provide them with meaningful opportunities to learn, create, and prepare for a brighter future.
