First their faces lit up each time I opened a package. This warmed my heart. We have been using the tablet to monitor our Dojo points. We are rewarded for so many points. We get to go in the Treasure box and find treasures(prizes) we earned based on our points. We have used the floor cushions during small group and/or free time. They are so comfortable. We used the Play-Doh during our Health lesson about mental health. It was fun to use it to calm down! \r\n\r\nEach day we have used our fraction puzzles in small group with our teacher. It helps us grasp our fractions. We even used them to some every day math problems. By training our staff we also make our community safer having more people trained to respond to potential emergencies in our community as well. Students have really taken ownership—reminding each other to check water levels and celebrating every bit of growth. \r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the reactions were priceless. Students were amazed that we could grow plants right in our classroom without soil. There were so many curious questions and lots of excitement as we set everything up together. It was one of those moments where everyone wanted to be involved and see what would happen next.\r\nThe vacuum helped us keep our space clean and organized, which makes it easier for us to stay focused and ready to learn.
