One student gasped and asked, \"Wait, it can draw and cut at the same time?\" They were immediately brainstorming all the things they could create, from stickers for their water bottles to decorations for our reading nook.\r\n\r\n Now that they understand the basics of the Design Space software, our next step is a Student-Led Classroom Transformation. Each small group is responsible for designing a \"Learning Zone\" sign using adhesive vinyl. Students can now print out their digital math models, science diagrams, and published writing with clear, bright visuals that help them better understand concepts. They are especially excited to see their Google Slides presentations, reading responses, and artwork printed in full color — it makes their work feel \"real\" and helps them take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting parts for students has been creating color-coded graphic organizers and visual aids that support their reading comprehension and problem-solving.
