Students rotate through hands-on stations where they design, build, and problem-solve using the materials. One memorable moment was when a group collaborated to create a sturdy structure, testing and improving their design after each attempt. They showed incredible teamwork and persistence, celebrating both their successes and their learning moments. When the centers were first introduced, the excitement was immediate—students were eager to explore, experiment, and take on new challenges.\r\n\r\nThe nonfiction books have been just as impactful in a different way. Students were immediately drawn to the engaging topics and real-world connections, sparking curiosity and meaningful discussions. Many students, especially those building confidence in reading, felt empowered being able to explore subjects that interested them. During reading time, they've been making connections between what they read and what they experience in STEM. Moving forward, students will use these books to research topics of interest and create simple presentations or projects, helping them strengthen comprehension, vocabulary, and their ability to share knowledge with others.","fullyFundedDate":1768633745753,"projectUrl":"project/building-thinkers-makers-and-artists/10017667/","projectTitle":"Building Thinkers, Makers, and Artists","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Taylor","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10403690"},{"teacherId":8131483,"projectId":10005929,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of non-fiction books to support our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.
