The flexible seating has allowed my students the opportunity to continue to do work on the floor but have a comfortable yet flexible place to land. My students were so excited when they walked into the classroom and saw it. It has helped us have a meeting spot to focus our learning at. The students love to come to the rainbow rug to listen to stories, practice our phonics skills, do partner work and so much more. They love to build tall towers on it during free time and lay on it during rest time. It has helped with my classroom management because each student has a circle that is their spot to sit in. This has helped with keeping our hands to ourselves and learning personal space. The visuals of the circles has also helped my special needs student see where their space is on the rug. Overall, this classroom rug has really been a great addition to our classroom.
