The students are really enjoying the materials. They were very surprised that such an area was created just for them and that all the items were provided by people who do not personally know us, yet showing genuine kindness.\r\n Our area in the health office is small, but the impact these items have made is huge! As you can see in the picture, I have a timer and allow them 20-30 minutes to use the area as needed. As time goes on, I plan to make a wall mural of all the colorings. I am also trying to figure out how to create a cozy, safe space for the students, but space is our limitation. This will take some time, but for now our SEL items are a great start to my vision. \r\n We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!","fullyFundedDate":1755309927359,"projectUrl":"project/social-emotional-area-for-nurses-office/9428610/","projectTitle":"Social Emotional Area for Nurse's Office","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Monical","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10062050"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_79086","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1517,"numTeachers":102,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":16,"percentBlack":39,"percentWhite":19,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":15,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"14.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":52.3,"schoolId":79086,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Omaha Northwest High Magnet School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Omaha Northwest High Magnet School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/nebraska/omaha-public-schools/northwest-high-school/79086"}
