They were very excited especially about Theo the Therapy Dog and the Bounce Board- both will be used all the time! \r\nI have already had a great experience with the fraction materials. I have two 3rd grade students who have autism and are in the general education classroom. They need more support with learning and a teacher reached out to me to ask if I had anything they can use to help them learn fractions, and I was able to give them the pizza fractions! They were so excited :)\r\nI have also used the social game with my kindergarten social group and they enjoyed it. I have used just the cards a few times so show different emotions and ask them to identify the emotion, describe a time they felt that way, and what they could do in that situation. \r\nOverall, everything is being utilized and is a great addition to our classroom and school.","fullyFundedDate":1770128976657,"projectUrl":"project/special-education-life-skills/10064025/","projectTitle":"Special Education Life Skills","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Buckley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9892864"},{"teacherId":10089822,"projectId":9492492,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of classroom snacks. The fruit snacks and treats have become an important part of our daily routine and have made a meaningful difference for my students. We use the snacks during learning blocks and transitions, and I've noticed a clear increase in focus and motivation. One afternoon during a writing lesson, students were especially eager to stay on task and work through revisions because they knew a snack break was coming it became a positive incentive that helped them push through challenging work.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the snacks, their reaction was pure excitement. Several students immediately asked if everyone could have one, and the relief on their faces was noticeable. This donation came at a time when many of my students were experiencing food insecurity, and having snacks available helped remove a major worry from their day. For some students, knowing there would be food allowed them to fully engage in learning instead of focusing on rumbling tummies. \r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, we will continue using these snacks to support students. The snacks help create a safe, caring classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated to do their best. Your donation did more than provide snacks it provided comfort, encouragement, and the energy students needed to learn and succeed.
