We had 11 energetic volleyball players who gave it their all in practice and during games. Guess what?!?! We had an UNDEFEATED season! You provided us with the volleyballs, scoreboard, hair bows, team bracelets, volleyball reward stickers and snacks that helped us be successful. Having a volleyball team brought our school together. There was standing room only during our games because students, families and staff came to cheer on our girls. It was a wonderful experience for the kids, families and coaches. We are already planning for our next spring volleyball season! Thank you so much for helping to make our 1st volleyball season possible and memorable at Catlin. I apologize for my delay in thanking you. Some items needed to be replaced and with the holidays they have been delayed. They should be arriving this week though! One item that I ordered that wasn't on my original list was an incubator so we can hatch chicken eggs. A 4-H speaker will bring the eggs in March. The kids will be so excited! \r\n\r\nThe students love the bright, colorful stools at the table and enjoy choosing a different color each day. The floor light and color-changing ball lamp bring a calmness into our room. The kids love working with the overhead lights off and the lamps on around the room. I was in a car accident at the end of September and suffered a severe concussion. I was unable to teach with the overhead lights on for a couple of months so the lamps were a huge blessing! \r\n\r\nThe kids love having our snacks daily while they read. I think it is most of the kids' favorite time of the day...just relaxing with a book and something yummy before going home. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting me and my students!
