This literature is engaging for my students and dovetail nicely with our ELA curriculum. Having a range of writing styles written by diverse authors at my fingertips makes planning a snap.\r\nI love these books for the writing quality. These stories provide us with rich opportunities to experience the power of figurative language, explore different genres, and examine different kinds of text features. My students love these books because they are engaging! The kids love the approachable language. Even my students who have difficulty with reading can keep up. The book chapters and overall length are never overwhelming. My students also love the kid protagonists. Novel studies can be such a grind for some kids, but these books have my students begging to do more. They can't wait to find out what happens next! \r\nHaving these books on hand has been so helpful to me as an educator. I can come up with projects that fulfill not only ELA standards, but also Montana's Indian Education for All understandings, with these impactful stories. Thank you so much for providing our school with these fantastic, contemporary, and unique stories. I hope you know how much your contributions can not only spark curiosity in young minds, but also help build understanding. The new books have quickly become favorites in our classroom and school library. Students are diving into them during independent reading, research projects, and even to spark classroom discussions. Recently, during our science unit on habitats, students eagerly pulled nonfiction animal books off the shelves to learn more and share fun facts with the class. The Science Comics series has become especially popular—those books are constantly checked out and passed from student to student.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes of books first arrived, the excitement was contagious. Students crowded around, pointing out titles that matched their interests—dinosaurs, outer space, biographies—and couldn't wait to check them out. One student hugged a book about cats and kittens and said, \"This is the one I've been waiting for!\"\r\n\r\nAs we move into upcoming social studies and STEM units, students will use these books to support hands-on projects and presentations. They'll be practicing research skills, working together to answer big questions, and continuing to grow as confident, curious learners. Your generosity has opened new doors for our students—helping them grow as readers, thinkers, and explorers of the world. These books engage students with vibrant illustrations and compelling stories that draw in even the most reluctant readers. They help improve comprehension, expand vocabulary, and foster a love of reading in students of all levels.\r\n\r\nFor many of our students, graphic novels open the door to a lifelong reading journey. We've already seen a spark of excitement in our library—students are eagerly checking out books, discussing characters and plots with their classmates, and spending more time reading independently.\r\n\r\nThank you to everyone who helped make this possible. With your donation I was able to add several books including multiple thematic series to the Spanish Language section of our library. \r\nSpanish books are of particular interest at our school as we have a Spanish program where all students get to have two hours of Spanish per week. This is significant for an elementary school in Montana. Students not only get to enjoy these new books in the library, but they also get to practice reading words they are learning in class. \r\nAn added bonus is that I (the Spanish teacher) get to use these books as materials in my Spanish classes.
