They couldn't believe all the equipment they received! We have had a blast in class learning to play catch with our friends and playing fun drills to help us learn the basics of t-ball. We have been doing stations where they can do \"target practice\" and practice aiming while they throw. We have a batting station with a tee, so they can practice making good contact with the ball and are learning to adjust where their bodies should be when hitting. We will incorporate more t-ball games and drills over the next couple of weeks to hopefully get them excited about continuing to play outside over the summer. \r\n\r\nWe have had the opportunity to use the tee mostly with the younger students, and the older students have loved having me pitch to them. The older students are excited to be outside and play a real game of t-ball in the next few weeks. We plan to do 2-3 weeks of t-ball skills, drills, and games - with the hopes that when the weather is really nice, we might get to go outside and play a real game! \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you so much for the donation to my classroom.
