They were used during Cross Country, Football, and Basketball seasons. These snacks help fuel athletes so they can work harder and stay focused during events and practices. Many of our students do not have funds for snacks, so this support makes a big difference.\r\n\r\nShare a specific project or moment.\r\nWe used the snacks to fuel our students before games and meets. Extracurricular activities are essential for students' social and emotional health, and keeping students active in sports helps them stay engaged in the classroom as well. Being able to provide healthy snacks ensured our athletes felt prepared and supported.\r\n\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nStudents were so excited! There was a wide variety of snacks to choose from, and they all felt good having options that helped them get ready for their practices and games.\r\n\r\nWhat are the next steps for your students on a current project?\r\nWe will continue to use the snacks for our after-school sports programs and field trips. Track season is coming up in the spring, and we will also be running our Little Mustang Basketball program.
