These resources have already made a huge difference in our classroom and in the lives of my young musicians.\r\nLooking ahead, we're excited to keep building on what we've started. In the next few weeks, we'll be working on a collaborative piece, where each student will contribute their own musical ideas and sections. The new reeds and supplies will make it possible for my students to achieve a higher level of precision and tone quality. I'm really excited to see how their skills develop, and I can already tell that these resources are helping them find their unique voices as musicians.\r\nThank you again for your amazing contribution. You've not only given my students the materials they need, but you've given them the confidence to perform at their best. Although I had told them about the bags when they were purchased for them, they had forgotten and were ECSTATIC when they knew they would have a bag to take home and use their string winders to put the strings on their guitars. \r\n\r\nNow, we have the juniors and sophomore who are finishing their guitars and they are seeing what the seniors have in these resources and see what a benefit they will be to keep their guitars looking nice as well. \r\n\r\nI want to thank you again for your generosity in helping provide the students with these materials, and make my class that much better!","fullyFundedDate":1739244386270,"projectUrl":"project/rock-on-helping-students-maintain-their/9088865/","projectTitle":"Rock On! After reading an article in our Rural Montana Electric Cooperative's magazine about how hydroponics are being used in our area in agriculture, my students were excited when I unveiled the hydroponic growing kits. That enthusiasm has only grown as we've integrated these materials into our hands-on learning experiences. Just last week, our class started growing pumpkin and cucumber in the hydroponic systems, and students are meticulously recording data about plant growth rates and water consumption. They're not just learning about plant biology – they're living it.\r\n\r\nThe Lego gear bots and magnetic force lab kits have transformed the class into an interactive adventure. Students who previously struggled with abstract concepts are now building working models to demonstrate mechanical advantage and magnetic fields. I'll never forget watching a student, who usually finds science challenging, successfully design a gear system that changed rotational speed. Her proud declaration of \"I actually get it now!\" perfectly captures the impact of these materials on student learning. Currently, teams are using the gear bots to design simple machines that could solve real-world problems in our school community.\r\n\r\nOur next big project incorporates the solar toys with our research unit. Students will be experimenting with different angles and light intensities to maximize solar energy collection, then using their findings to design more efficient solar-powered devices. Thanks to your generosity, we're not just reading about renewable energy – we're investigating it firsthand. Your support has transformed our classroom into a true laboratory where curiosity thrives and future scientists and engineers are discovering their passions.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making our project happen!\r\nTrina Wilson","fullyFundedDate":1733187796822,"projectUrl":"project/creatively-discover-through-steam/8684155/","projectTitle":"Creatively Discover Through STEAM","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wilson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9327012"},{"teacherId":9708477,"projectId":8706464,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. The calculators that were purchased have been very benefitable for my students.\r\n In my school and classroom, there is a handful of students who cannot afford a calculator of their own, and being without one puts them at a big disadvantage when it comes to learning. These calculators have allowed them to be on equal footing with their peers, and given them a better chance of succeeding in my classroom. \r\n The graphing calculators have become especially useful for my upper math classes.
