The daily practice journals gave my students more opportunities to practice their skills. \r\n\r\nFinally, the book about Lulu going to the grocery store enhanced the grocery unit. They got to interact with numerous adults from around the community as well as interact with fourth grade students that came and helped. Not only did the project impact 1st graders at East Evergreen elementary, it impacted 4th graders here as well! They got to take a leadership role in helping the 1st grade students build their house successfully! Your support is making a significant impact on the lives of my students, and I am truly thankful.\r\n\r\nEach student has their own unique way of understanding and engaging with the world and, with your donation, we have a range of supplies that are highly engaging and meet the differentiated learning needs in our classroom. They were elated to be able to use the colored pencils and pens, sentence starters, and topic cubes to help them begin their writing process. These supplies allow them to build confidence and express themselves in more creative and meaningful ways, turning writing into an exciting and enjoyable experience they want to share with their classmates.\r\n\r\nThe math games and dice, in particular, are a wonderful addition to our classroom. They are not only fun but also engage students in collaborative learning, allowing them to work together to solve problems and improve their skills. They Frog and Toad books were a hit and were able to use at all levels of learning. We discussed reading skills such as: main idea and detail, cause and effect, and making connections. These interactive tools help meet the needs of all learners, making the classroom an environment where everyone can thrive.\r\n\r\nThe supplies you helped provide have also fostered a strong classroom community. Through collaboration, students are learning the importance of empathy, respect, and teamwork. It's truly fulfilling to see them grow both academically and socially, and your contribution has played a key role in this.\r\n\r\nI feel so fortunate to be able to work with such amazing students, and your support has made their learning experience that much richer. Thank you again for your generosity, which allows me to provide them with the tools they need to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1732636462483,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-is-the-best-way/8836259/","projectTitle":"Hands On Is the Best Way!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kaup","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5380373_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1525878422228","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5380373"},{"teacherId":9693911,"projectId":8683563,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. My students were so excited for the graphic novels and the math games. Students who were uninterested in books on my shelves have been excitedly waiting for the graphic novels to be returned, so that they may read them. \r\n\r\nWe are just finishing up our in district assessments this month, but already I am seeing improvement in their scores. All of my students have shown growth in their oral reading fluency. Also some of my lowest students showed great growth in their overall reading. \r\n\r\nAs for math my students all showed good growth. I am grateful for the leveled multiplication math games. They were engaging and helped challenge all students even my upper leveled students. \r\n\r\nAgain thank you for helping provide these engaging and fun items for our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1724686937120,"projectUrl":"project/making-reading-and-math-fun/8683563/","projectTitle":"Making Reading and Math Fun","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hingiss","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9693911"},{"teacherId":9710405,"projectId":8709284,"letterContent":"My students were so excited to see the new materials in my room after they arrived!
