My students used the underglaze for a sgraffito project and also a Native American application of painted feathers to their lidded pots. Additionally students used the colors just to paint on the surface of their bisque fired pot to create more texture and interest to the surface of their pot.\r\nStudents loved the opportunity to try a new application with underglaze. The like underglaze since they are able to paint it directly on to the clay surface when it is still wet or when the pot has been fired once (bisque fired).
