The Mac mini and EcoTank printer have allowed us to create a more engaging, efficient, and inclusive environment where students can explore, create, and learn with confidence. With the Mac mini, students have access to a reliable and powerful tool that supports a variety of academic activities—from research and writing to multimedia projects. The EcoTank printer has provided us with the ability to produce high-quality materials and resources that cater to different learning styles, helping each student stay organized and motivated.\r\n\r\nThis project has encouraged greater participation, creativity, and independence among my students. They are excited to use modern technology as part of their lessons, and it has made learning more interactive and meaningful. The ability to see their work come to life, whether on screen or in print, has fostered pride and confidence in their accomplishments.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a lasting impact on our classroom. You've helped bridge the gap between traditional learning and modern technology, giving my students access to the tools they need to reach their full potential. Thank you for supporting their growth and success.","fullyFundedDate":1755443716378,"projectUrl":"project/tech-tools-for-bright-minds-mac-mini-/9559540/","projectTitle":"Tech Tools for Bright Minds: Mac Mini & Printer Power","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Budomo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8060761_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1633889335662","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8060761"},{"teacherId":9989890,"projectId":9223503,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping to get flexible seating in my classroom. It helps all of the children focus more. The band that goes across the bottom of my chairs has all of my students excited. Their first question was if they all get them. In the past, we only had enough for a few students, but now everyone has them. Most of them are used to help each student. Some students use them as a foot rest while others will use them for slight movements during class time. \r\n\r\nMy chairs have been moved between all students at random so that they get to have a different learning environment. Having different options has made my students be able to be more comfortable for learning. I have several students who love to tip in regular chairs so having wobble chairs allows them to do that without worrying about them tipping over. \r\n\r\nThe chairs are also allowing my students to be able to work in groups better. They now have a seat that they can move around the classroom easily and be able to be up off the ground. The learning environment is a better place thanks to your donation.","fullyFundedDate":1746785988044,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-is-empowering/9223503/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating Is Empowering!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Van Dyke","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9989890_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y390&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1743623676360","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9989890"},{"teacherId":9640243,"projectId":8609928,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom. Thanks to your support, we are now able to provide our students with a brand-new printer that will significantly enhance their learning experience.\r\n\r\nYour contribution allows us to bring creative projects, assignments, and resources to life in a way that was previously impossible. Our students are already excited about the opportunities this printer will provide, and I'm confident it will make a lasting impact on their education.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your kindness and commitment to helping our classroom thrive. This technology has opened up a world of possibilities, providing interactive tools and assistive software that make learning more accessible and engaging. With features like text-to-speech, voice-to-text, and dyslexia-friendly fonts, my student can now navigate lessons with greater independence and confidence. Tasks that once felt overwhelming, such as reading and writing, have become manageable and even enjoyable.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects of this computer is how it allows my student to actively engage with content. The touchscreen feature enables hands-on interaction with lessons, making it easier to highlight text, manipulate visuals, and work with educational apps tailored to their needs. This has helped them stay focused and motivated, and I've noticed a significant boost in their confidence when tackling new challenges.\r\n\r\nThis project has made a meaningful difference not only in my student's academic performance but also in their attitude toward learning. They've expressed excitement about using the computer and have shown a newfound eagerness to participate in activities that used to feel frustrating. Watching their progress has been incredibly rewarding, and it's all thanks to your kindness and support. Using the soil probe, the students collected soil core samples from out outdoor classroom. They got to experience how the soil moisture and soil structure influences the collection of the samples and understand the importance of multiple sample locations. The soil rapid test kits allowed the students to test the soil for the three macronutrients that we covered in class. They enjoyed being able to run the tests themselves and visually observe the color changes that indicate the nutrient levels. The students were so engaged, and their curiosity was sparked, evident in the questions and observations they made. \r\n\r\nOur other project that is supported by your generous donation is our hydroponic systems. The students are excited to use the rapid tests to measure the pH of the water and the nutrient levels in the water since they mixed and calculated the nutrients themselves. The rockwool purchased is a very easy medium to use and allows them to plant the seeds themselves, observe the growth process, and monitor plant health. Through comparison students found many advantages to rockwool for our specific hydroponic system. The students are looking forward to seeing and eating the lettuce and herbs from the towers!\r\n\r\nYour financial support has helped provide my students with hands-on experiences that have sparked their curiosity and increased engagement in my classroom.
