The difference your support has made is amazing, but I am excited to share a few highlights of how your generosity has impacted our learning environment.\r\nThe day the materials arrived was a moment of pure joy and surprise. When the students first saw the fish tank, their eyes lit up with excitement. There were audible \"oohs and aahs,\" and their enthusiasm was contagious. They were blown away to learn that people they had never even met cared so much about their education and wanted them to succeed. The pride they felt in knowing their goals were valued made them even more eager to begin using the new resources.\r\nWe have been using the new bounce bands every day. We put them on and everyone enjoyed them. We had to practice the right way to use them. I have a quiet corner in my class where we have two beanbags and a carpet area. I put the liquid timers in the corner. I have a few students with sensory needs and this is perfect for them to get a break. \r\nOne specific moment that stands out occurred when one student broke theirs and I gave them a new one and another student said \" I don't even use mine\" well let me tell you that student uses theirs all day everyday, without even realizing it! These materials are not just for this year; they are an investment that will benefit countless students in the years to come.\r\nYour support has not only provided us with essential tools but has also shown my students that their community believes in them and their potential. Thank you for helping us make our classroom wishes come true.","fullyFundedDate":1757804458174,"projectUrl":"project/quiet-and-calm-in-the-classroom/9511046/","projectTitle":"Quiet and calm in the classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Shimerdla","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5653204_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y579&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753150431763","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5653204"},{"teacherId":9692587,"projectId":8936960,"letterContent":"Since integrating magnetic manipulatives into math, reading, writing, and play students have shown more interest and enthusiasm every day! We are utilizing all of the materials and greatly appreciate your support. My first graders were so excited when I told them I was able to order new supplies to help in their learning.\r\n\r\nOur school adopted a new handwriting curriculum this year, so we are practicing our handwriting every day. The packs of handwriting paper help us to do this. We're even to the point of being able to write stories and respond to prompts, which they love. The pencil sharpener we ordered also helps in achieving this goal. There's nothing like a good, sharpened pencil to write with.\r\n\r\nOur school is also implementing right brain learning this year. The idea is to get both sides of our brain working together. In addition to physical exercises that we do every morning, we are learning to imbed pictures into our sight words. We use the blank flashcards and binder rings to put together our sight words. \r\n\r\nWe are enjoying reading our new books, as well as using the CVC spelling word game. \r\nThank you so much!","fullyFundedDate":1726518556012,"projectUrl":"project/right-brain-learning/8760070/","projectTitle":"Right Brain Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Holley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9711653"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_78333","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":248,"numTeachers":8,"percentFrplEligible":33,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"31.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":63.6,"schoolId":78333,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Belt School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Belt School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/montana/belt-school-district-29-d/belt-school/78333"}
