Your kindness truly made a meaningful difference for my students.\r\n\r\nWith these new books, we have been working hard on important reading skills such as comprehension, fluency, and decoding. Most importantly, the stories have helped students grow even more excited about reading and develop a deeper love for books.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is an active and motivating experience. Each month, we hold reading challenges where students compete in a fun and encouraging way. This not only builds excitement about reading but also inspires students to read more at home, bringing parents and families into the learning process.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have been especially impacted by your gifts. A couple of my lower-income students were thrilled, not only to receive a wonderful book they may not have been able to get otherwise, but also the winter supplies they truly needed. The warm gear kept them comfortable on our walk and helped them feel included and supported.\r\n\r\nWe are also so grateful for the hot cocoa, candy canes, and the opportunity to share this experience with members of our local senior center. It created a memorable moment of community, connection, and holiday joy that my students will not forget.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for helping make reading such a warm, exciting, and meaningful experience for our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1767621898423,"projectUrl":"project/miss-krones-3rd-grade-cozy-christmas-/9962405/","projectTitle":"Miss Krone's 3rd Grade Cozy Christmas - Making a Difference","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Krone","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9703176_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724730212116","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9703176"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_78527","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":91,"numTeachers":6,"percentFrplEligible":62,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":79,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":41.7,"schoolId":78527,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Augusta School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Augusta School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/montana/augusta-school-district-45/augusta-school/78527"}
