The materials have helped make the weight room not as daunting to students, and have helped make my classroom a place to refocus. \r\n\r\nSince receiving our supplies, students will regularly borrow stress balls before tests, and return them after. Some students get a stress ball to take their focus off the other things in life. I have a 'no questions asked' policy that students respect and do not abuse. Students have also enjoyed the coloring sheets and positive affirmations inside. The Rubik's Cubes have been popular with groups taking turns scrambling and solving. The Crayola colored pencils are more durable than other brands that students have access to, and as a result, are being used more frequently. The notes and assignments I collect are vibrant, which can increase my mood, too. \r\n\r\nIn the weight room, the bars have helped students overcome their apprehension with weight training. Many students report feeling more confident with the lighter-weight options.
