Many times, having a snack has regulated a disregulated student and prevented an escalation of behaviors, has created a relevance for students to communicate their needs and cross communication barriers, and has helped to teach students advocating skills, just to name a few ways the snacks have contributed to our class community.\r\n\r\nWhen you view the pictures, you can see just how excited students have been to receive snacks and to know that there is a tasty option available from time to time. With access to laptops, Tinkercad design tools, and hands-on maker materials, students actively participate in Makerspace Mondays, Tinkercad Tuesdays, and Fun Fridays, where they design, build, code, and pitch their own creations. One memorable moment occurred when students used Tinkercad to design original products and then collaborated to refine their ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and prepare short pitches. These experiences allow students to move from concept to creation while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills rooted in real-world application.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and energizing. Many were eager to explore the tools and amazed that they were trusted with professional-level resources to bring their ideas to life. Your support has empowered students to take ownership of their learning, see themselves as innovators and entrepreneurs, and believe in their ability to create meaningful change. Because of your generosity, our students now have access to yoga mats, blocks, and a mobile storage rack that transformed our school garden into a peaceful, outdoor wellness space. When the materials arrived, the joy was immediate. Students rolled out the mats in the sunshine, touched the blocks curiously, and couldn't believe this space was just for them. One student quietly said, \"This feels like a retreat.\"\r\n\r\nWe now hold weekly sessions where students practice beginner-friendly yoga poses, breathing techniques, and short reflections in the garden. The Arlifo Yoga Mat Storage Rack keeps everything organized and mobile, allowing us to bring materials in and out with ease. Each student has their own mat and journal, giving them a space to stretch, breathe, and reflect in a calm, supportive environment. During our \"Rooting in Resilience\" week, one student who struggles with anxiety was able to hold Tree Pose with a look of total focus. Afterward, she wrote, \"I didn't shake as much this time. I think I'm getting stronger.\" That small moment meant everything.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just provide equipment—it gave our students permission to slow down and feel safe in their bodies. They are developing focus, self-awareness, and emotional resilience that carry over into their classrooms and relationships. Our next step is to bring student leaders into the process. A few are learning how to guide breathwork or offer calming affirmations to their peers during sessions. As winter approaches, we'll shift into chair yoga and breathwork indoors, continuing our commitment to mindfulness and mental health throughout the year.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, we've planted something lasting—not just in our garden, but in our students' hearts.
